LDS Temples are unique landscaping projects to begin with, but in this case, the Mt. Timpanogos Temple was built where the LDS church had operated a welfare farm, and the residual pesticides in the soil killed the first round of plants that we installed. We needed to make adjustments quickly and come back with plants that would not only survive but thrive in these circumstances. The results have been wonderful, and the resulting beauty of the grounds has made the Mt. Timpanogos temple a favorite wedding spot, as it is so easy for brides (and their photographers) to find good spots for taking those important photographs.
